Year after year as the centuries run
No sign of the merciless god
Abandoned and treated indifferently
Released in confusion we roam
May we surrender and stare to the skies
Waiting for our time to come?
Frightened and lost in the black of the night
Shall we resign to the fall?

Lurking and waiting for chances to come
Corruption is leading our kind
Slave to our ignorance, selfish and mean
We obscured the gleaming of life
Downward the spiral of sorrow and hate
There where humanity drowns
Looking for something is worth fighting for
Redeeming the souls we have sold

I’ll defend till the end what there’s left to fight for
I won’t bend to hypocrisy and greed
We were born with much more than a rotten heart
But when our god has left so far from here Pandora’s box we filled

Fighting each other and fighting our fate
We never considered the hope
Towering over the weaks we have crushed
With no shame at all we show off
Killing and cheating and acting like gods
Pretending we are not parasites
We are not different from who left us in this hole
The hole in the hearts we live in
