Crossing the river's border
Going into disorder
Meeting Set out in the west
To partake his sacred test
Seeking out the desert gold

I deserve what I'm to earn
Even if I don't return

Wondering how far I've gone
And how far I'll carry on
Stumbling onto the ground
Thirsty but won't turn around
Will to take Death's commands
As I lie here on the sands
Finding gold just as I'm laid
For this quest I have been paid

From my body flies the ka
That seeks out the Path of Ra
To join his great caravan
No longer a mortal man
Though my quest will continue
The sands will keep my body new
Maybe one day I'll come back
If the gold I do not lack
